Private Dining - Private Dining at the Chequers can be an open or private affair with various spaces designed to offer intimacy or more of a party atmospher.
Weddings - Wheelers of St James Chequers Inn is simply beautiful and with its ample car park, lovely walled garden (with room for a marquee), two decking areas, designated dining area to seat up to fifty and sixteen rooms to accommodate your guests, it could be your perfect wedding venue.
After a perfect day you and your guests can then retire for the evening in one of our sixteen rooms. We have two stunning suites to choose from for the wedding party, the Wellington Suite with its four poster bed and contemporary Shelley Suite, both stylish yet comfortable with their own character.
There are also twelve delightful en-suite bedrooms within the main building and four rooms located in the charming Coach House in the grounds.
