Elegant rooms provide a choice of dining areas, where tables dressed with linen-draped over butter-soft hide add a touch of glamour.  This, together with wood panelled walls adorned with Marco's extensive collection of JAKS vibrant cartoons and photos of Maresfield of old, create the perfect ambiance in which to dine.

Food & Drink - Under Marco's watchful eye, his prodigy Johnnie Forbes, Head Chef, and his loyal team in the kitchen, consistently produce good honest food which delights the varied tastes of the Chequer's guests. From the famously delicious Wheeler's of St James's Fish Pie and Eton Mess to the simple potted shrimp and steak and triple cooked chips, each dish is freshly prepared.

White & Sons - With its roaring fire, solid oak bar and the country's finest ales on tap, White & Sons Tap Room and Oyster Bar is the perfect snug to settle in for the afternoon or evening.
